User Group Forums
All subscribers to HR Benchmarker are invited to attend a
User Group Forum following the publication of the most
recent HR Benchmarker Survey Report. These Forums are
cost-free to HR Benchmarker subscribers.
User Group Forums - The Benefits
Our subscribers tell us that one of the benefits of joining the
HR Benchmarker service is the opportunity it provides to
network with other HR professionals. Our User Group
Forums are structured and facilitated in such a way, so as to
maximise such networking opportunities.
Furthermore, whilst collecting data is a critical part of any
benchmarking activity, the real challenge is to ensure that
the data analysis is used to inform decision making within
contributing organisations. This is one of the important roles
played by the User Group Forums, in that they enable
subscribers to exchange information and ideas as to how the
data is being used in a practical way.
Our User Groups essentially operate as "communities of
good practice", providing the opportunity to exchange ideas
and real experience.
Typical Agenda
Whilst User Group Forum members agree the focus of each
meeting, the agenda will typically incorporate the following:
- a review of the key metrics in the most recent report,
exploring the significance that should be attached to the
data and its analysis;
- an exchange of information as to how the data and its
analysis is being (or is likely to be) used by individual
subscribers, back in their own organisation;
- a review of the metrics and their definitions, to ensure
that they are still fit for purpose;
- a discussion about general trends in HR practice and
their implications for HR benchmarking and
measurement;
- a review of the measures and definitions to be
incorporated into the next HR Benchmarker survey (and
report).
Attendees and Confidentiality
HR Benchmarker User Group Forums are typically attended
by individuals representing organisations or companies from
the same or similar sectors.
Furthermore, they operate on the premise that all views and
information are shared and expressed in strict confidence.
