Performance Measures & Statistics

HR Benchmarker undertakes two surveys each year, HR Performance Indicators and Workforce Performance Indicators. Following each survey, we publish a number of reports, presenting detailed analysis of the data collected. The data analysis in each report is supported by expert commentary, as well as a review of its implications for HR practitioners.

Whilst there is continuity in the data collected over time, in order to provide the opportunity for monitoring changes year on year, we do add new metrics, as a consequence of the regular service reviews we undertake with our many User Groups. As a consequence, the content of each report will be somewhat different from its predecessor.

In general, measures are presented by organisation size and sector, for example, Small Private Sector (employing fewer than 1,000 employees). In the case of Sector Specific reports, measures are shown for the particular Sector concerned (e.g. Retail & Leisure or Manufacturing & Engineering).

Certain measures are presented by employee category i.e. Managerial/Professional staff or Operational/Support staff.
